Dr Kar's clinics always run on time which is important as sometimes you can be waiting to see doctors for at least an hour. He comes across as very professional and I feel confident about what he is telling us. I never worry about asking him questions and he can always answer them without any problem. He is excellent at his job and I would have no problem recommending him to anyone. I feel very fortunate that my son has him as his endocrinologist.

I suffer from a rare condition which Dr Kar diagnosed 4 and ½ years ago when I was admitted into QA after attending the A & E dept. At the time Dr Kar explained what had happened to me and gave me very clear instructions on how to manage my condition. Since then his interest in my welfare has been constant, with tests and MRIs etc to make sure that I am doing fine. I know that I can speak to him whenever I have a problem and he will either reassure me or take action. This allows me to live without anxiety. Dr Kar also introduced me personally to a member of his team whom I can contact in his absence ensuring that I never feel isolated. That is good, all round, patient care.

When I was initially referred to Dr Kar I was struggling to balance my thyroxine levels and feel 'normal/well'. He made every effort to understand how I was feeling at my first appointment and seemed willing to think 'outside the box' in order to recommend the best way to improve how I was feeling. He was professional but friendly and approachable at the same time. He ensured that he listened to me and treated my symptoms rather than just relying on thyroid blood test results appearing to be within the 'normal' range. This has been invaluable in helping me to feel better. He has also been contactable if needed which has been very helpful to me as a patient. I would therefore highly recommend Dr Kar without reservation.

Excellent doctor. Diagnosed me very quickly and is always happy to help with any questions/queries I or my parents may have. Due to his diagnosis I recovered very quickly and am now much happier and healthier. I would definitely recommend Dr Kar to another patient.

I had been suffering severe mental & cognitive issues, blood disorders etc etc and had been caught up in the system seeing specialist after specialist referred from one department to another with no hope, no light and the end of the tunnel. By chance one of my blood works led me to Dr Kar and since then Ive not looked back. In nearly five years of referrals Dr Kar was the only Doctor that made me feel like I was a human being and not a statistic waiting to be shuffled off his books. He listened, sought answers and ultimately did what none of the others were able to do which was diagnose and successfully treat me. Dr Kar made himself available by phone or email, and when ever I needed him he was quick to respond and help push me in the right direction. Dr Kar's people skills are second none, he's approachable, he's not a dictator and he makes you believe in the system. Without him my life would be much different now.
